Women as leaders

Do you think this women has her facts correct?
I think this woman does have her facts correct. She has enough correct to make her statements revolving the situation.

How do you think the world would change if women had more leadership roles?
If more women had more leadership roles, it would change the records, the data and the mindsets of so much more women. They'd be involved in more roles than men could possibly be involved in, including the personal roles.

Naming businesses

To improve our business name we would incorporate flower or floral or anything super girly and flowery somewhere because just from JASTS? Nothing. Aha, JASTS isn't even a real word.
JASTS: We don't follow the points that much because there isn't anywhere in the name where we communicate to our customers. We'd have to explain exactly what JASTS is and the best thing we could say is that it's our initial.. Plus one for the uniqueness though.
I honestly have no other suggestions.

1. How will you do your bookkeeping? Can you use a template or software program? Name the program you intend to use.
In my group, I would probably want to do the bookkeeping things. The program I intend to use is the OWL software.

2. Last class you projected cash flow for your assignment, what did you learn?
I learned that you really need to know everyone's opinion on just one item. If you want profit, or just to sell.

3. How will you ensure that you get paid on time?
I would put someone in charge of the job. They'd send out invoices and such to remind the customers that payment is due, etc.

Belated Day 8

Interdependence is better than independent work on some occasions; mainly depending on if you need more hands or more brains. What I do well as a team member is focus and cooperate. It's important because you need all the people you can get and the more focus - the more work to be done.

One of our competition would be: Panda Flowers. I recently bought roses from there and that wasn't all they sold; they sold cute little cards, really well assorted bouquets, balloons, mugs and chocolates. Things that people would buy for impromptu gifts or, something nice for their significant other. The prices of individual flowers varies from the different kinds of flowers but it usually would range from $2 - $8. Bouquets range from $20 - $65. They market by having their ads in newspapers and the spread of word. Aha, I only talked to the staff to ask if they were hiring.

I didn't learn much.. I guess I held some attention towards the video. To be honest however, I did not learn anything. Not because the guy isn't full of knowledge but the key aspects mainly went in one ear and out the other. But by looking at the equations he stated that the less affluence there was, the greater happiness will come. That was probably the only thing that came to mind. ALSO. That theres two kinds of technology that counts in the equation, both matter.

Malcolm's Video

Diversity can come off in many ways and in those ways it creates success. So, if every business involved different opinions, different perspectives and the knowledge of what people want well, you have a new tactic to your business. The business my group is planning involves flowers, bouquets. Instead of just roses we can sell daisies, tulips and sunflowers. People become have an eye for something pretty, but it has to be pretty in their eyes, not the groups.

How do convincing speakers vary their speech when they speak for different purposes and to different people?

They vary their speech according to the audience and what their intentions are. They'd target the audience's soft spot, you'd base them on their age stereotypes. For example, teens want whats 'in,' whats new and what would give them that temporary satisfaction. Adults want high quality things, things that would last them a long time. Seniors.. Well, they want whatever they need. And I emphasize on the need. Salesman would mainly start advertising, obviously.
