Controlling is implying measurement of accomplishment opposed to standards and ensures achievement of organizational goals. The advantages of participative planning is increase in productivity, job satisfaction, motivation, improved quality and reduced costs. The disadvantages of participative planning is that decision making slows down and there may be a raise in security issues.
