1) Silly as it sounds, to me, it's a genuine mockumentary. Banksy had genuine information and his message was inspired on the streets. The mockumentary would be about Thierry. 2) The street artists' wanted to go really public with their art and to me, it shows that they want people to know who they are yet they want to stay anonymous when it comes to upfront contact. They also wanted to show people what they can do. They were effective because even though it's considered vandalism, people would stop to stare and whether they may admit or not, they would most likely find them amusing. 3) Mr. Brainwash was someone who incorporated Banksy's work and the other street artists' work (in the video.) He was only effective because he opened an art show and presented himself. 4) The key differences between MBW & street artists are that MBW showed himself upfront, he wanted everyone to know exactly who he was and behind the art, he wanted to let people see it was him doing it. He wasn't anonymous; street artists were vise versa. 5) What brought a lot of people to the show was Banksy's promotion. 6) Graffiti is vandalism but the real message is the art. It sucks having your property being painted but for other people, looking at it is much more interesting. If someone painted on my wall, I'd honestly have to judge based on what the drawing is. If it's utterly horrible, I'd flip shiz. Similarities between graffiti and guerilla marketing is that it's in the public eye, art on the wall and it's marketing something. Either an idea or an item.
