My lazy employees

If I had a lazy employee who always showed up late and was totally unmotivated to even do the work. I would confront them and see what the deal is. If it was a you can shake it off kind of reason then I would give them a day break to see if they would like to continue working. If it was a really cut-deep personal reason then I would still give them a break and they can choose to keep working there or not. If it was a dumb reason like 'I just don't feel like it' then off to the dungeons of fired employees they go. My leadership would vary between my employees, it's what I would think - best suits them. But I would usually use a democratic leadership style for the majority of my employees.
